Easter 2013
The PTA Easter Hunt and Fayre raised over £500 which is fantastic. This money will be put towards resources for the children.

October 2011

Tom celebrates his birthdayOur Caretaker, Mr. Tom Gordon  celebrated his 75th birthday on Wednesday and we held a special assembly for him. He was presented with a huge breakfast hamper full of treats, cards from the children and a cake with a picture of him when he was a Queen’s Guard. He told the children that he had worked at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and many other places as a guard. He was awarded a medal for being the smartest guard.

 

June 2011

On 17th June we marked our 150th year with a series of events including a balloon release, an exhibition and the unveiling of a commemorative mosaic.

Having recently had our Ofsted inspection we were very pleased to be judged "good" with "outstanding features".  Amongst other things we were praised for our excellent links with parents and carers and our range of extra-curricular clubs.

February 2011

As part of the 150 celebrations of the school a church service was held on Sunday 13th February at St. Michael's Church. It was well attended by current and past pupils and parents as well as four head teachers. See the press release for more information.
