The following teaching assistants work with  Class 2 on different afternoons:

Art Club learnt how to use batik and tie dye to make these underwater pictures.	The children used sequins and wool to add details to their pictures.

Classes 1 and 2 visited Bristol Zoo to start our topic on 'Animal Adaptations'. We loved watching the meerkats being fed.	We learnt lots about hissing cockroaches.
We got to touch some interesting creatures!

 

 

Projects & Events

As the conclusion to our Mexico topic, Classes 1 and 2 held their own Mexican fiesta.
We spent the morning making quesadillas and guacamole.
The parents enjoyed trying our Mexican food. Everyone joined us to dance La Raspa.
Our Year Two Gardening Club love taking care of the vegetables we grow.
Gardening Club also visited a local kitchen garden to learn more about growing fruit and vegetables.
